After the headaches of crs last Thursday, Chris and I went to Block 09. We drove to the gas station first. And what the fuck. I've seen the gasoline prices are above Php50 na!
Yes. I do know that gas prices have been spiking up fast these weeks. The last time I bothered to look at it, it was at Php40. I didn't mind anyways. (I've never paid for gas. my whole life.) But seeing it that moment was really jaw-dropping. WTF indeed.
I went to do a bit of research, and this is what I've found.: pre-Iraq war February 2003, crude oil was at $30. At present, it is hovering at above $130. Oh well..I cant blame China and India and their red hot expanding economies which demand unprecedented amount of oil more than ever their histories. Add to that Bush's (and on that case, the Republican Party's) Iraq war mess, Hugo Chavez's and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's drama, political instability in Nigeria, and United States fucked up currency. Nice.
I should now accustomed myself on seeing an oil price hike everytime I stop at gas stations huh...
